Transcriptionist Value Bundle

Transcriptionist Value Bundle

The latest release Olympus RS-28H foot pedal is perfectly paired with Express Scribe Professional transcription software and a robust yet lightweight Plantronics headset, for a well-rounded, versatile and functional transcriptionist’s value bundle.

All professional transcriptionists know how important it is to have equipment which is suited to typical transcription tasks, including transcribing diverse audio formats.  Transcriptionists also need equipment which is robust, reliable and durable.

We’ve paired the Olympus RS-28H foot pedal with Express Scribe Professional transcription software and a comfortable Plantronics headset.  We believe this bundle provides both first-time and seasoned transcriptionists with the most versatile, robust and flexible transcription hardware and software available, and at a reasonable price.

The Transcriptionist Value Bundle includes:

  • An Olympus RS-28H 3-pedal foot pedal
  • NCH Express Scribe Professional transcription software license serial key, with installation instructions, and
  • A Plantronics .audio326 noise-cancelling stereo headset, with boom mic (great for Skype), and volume control with mute.

The Plantronics overhead stereo headset comes with two inbuilt 3.5mm audio and mic plugs, padded ear cups, volume control with mute, and an adjustable boom mic with noise-cancelling technology.  The cable is 1.2m long.

When  using the RS-28H foot pedal with any non-Olympus applications, be sure to set the Olympus Foot Switch Configuration Tool (FTSW) to “Keyboard” mode.  Instructions for installing and using the configuration tool (FTSW) are included with the foot pedal.  The configuration tool is easy to install and use.

The configuration tool is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems.
