Translation
Pacific Transcription provides translation services between English and a range of languages, including:
- Mandarin (traditional or simplified)
- Cantonese (traditional or simplified)
- Korean
- Japanese
- French
- German
Many other languages are also available, please contact us for a more specific quote or to find out if the language you require is available.
Format
Translation is available from audio recordings or printed text, and translated documents are formatted to match the original.
Pricing
Translation is generally priced per word (in the target language), however please note that for translation from audio recordings, charges for transcription in the original language will also apply.
As an indication, costs for translation from an audio recording are around $4.00-$6.00 per minute of audio plus $0.25-$0.50 per word (or per character for Chinese/Japanese/Korean) depending on the language, and whether the translation is to or from English. For translation from written text, only the per word/character charges apply. (Prices are in AUD and are GST exclusive)

Turnaround
Depending on the volume and language, turnarounds as fast as 24 hours are available (please note advance notice is required for turnarounds less than 48 hours).
