Technology Solutions
Pacific Solutions works with all major dictation and transcription platforms including Olympus, Philips, Sony, mp3 recordings and Winscribe. Winscribe is a dial-in dictation service which is an efficient method of dictating and requires no purchase of new equipment or software. Integration with medical practice software is available. Integrating with Genie
Pacific Solutions integrates with widely used medical practice software such as Genie. Patient and referring doctor demographics are uploaded along with audio. Completed documents are automatically imported into practice software such as Genie. The end result is a seamless integration of outsourced typing into the medical practice software - just as though our typists were working at the practice.
Large Medico-legal groups
Pacific Solutions provides access to a variety of specialised typists for large medico-legal groups. This coverage is across all specialities including orthopaedic, ophthalmology, general physicians and psychiatry. It also includes all types of reports such as for the Motor Accidents Authority and Workers Compensation Commission. A selection of dictation platforms including portable digital recorders, telephone dial-in, PC-based dictation and tapes are available to suit the personal preference of each consulting doctor.
Smaller specialist practices
A simple to use client login and upload area is perfect for small practices to quickly and efficiently utilise the services of Pacific Solutions. No software installation is required. Doctors can send their audio from either home or the practice. Pacific Solutions types directly into client templates for ease of editing. This service is fully compatible with Apple Macs.
Radiology practices
Pacific Solutions has specialist radiology typists who directly access client networks and radiology software through a VPN. This allows real-time transcription and printing of jobs at any time of the day and gives real-time typing support. Radiology clinics use Pacific Solutions for both overflow and permanent typing relief, which allows the practice to better manage internal HR fluctuations.
Dial-in dictation
Pacific Solutions can provide a dictation solution to suit your needs. Our dial-in dictation service (Winscribe) offers professional clients the option of phoning our dedicated dictation number from any phone anywhere in Australia to dictate their letters or reports. This eliminates the upfront cost of purchasing a digital recorder and allows the flexibility of dictating from anywhere, without the need for a computer or internet access.
Hospitals
Pacific Solutions provides a complete dictation system to hospitals around Australia. Our pool of medical typists with experience in every discipline can type directly into your current medical software, and doctors can be given the option of using their digital voice recorder/dictaphone or our dial-in dictation service. Pricing can be based per line or on a monthly fee.
