• Automatic File Notification- especially handy for transcription teams using the software at the same time and needing to turn files around quickly, Quikscribe Player has the option under the Settings Icon to automatically notify the typist when new files arrive, and can include 7 options which indicate the status of the file, including the varying levels of urgency of file turnaround, which files are already open and being transcribed by other typists, overdue files on the wait list, many of which also come with flashing icons for even more helpful  and diverse visual feedback.  And these features work regardless if the typist has Quikscribe Player open or closed, so the chances of a file being missed or forgotten is even further diminished. 
• Ability to import 3 key audio formats - WAV (Wave), DSS (Digital Speech Standard) and IAF (Intelligent Audio File) are all fully compatible with Quikscribe Player, allowing free movement of audio files between platforms, supporting compressed audio files, and allowing access to and utilization of the superior functions of IAF such as inserting of text and other files into the single audio file. 
• A swathe of outstanding timesaving features- including the ability to insert markers with labels or comments for this marker; ability to past embedded text and images with a few simple steps with audio prompts for typists; and ability to automatically capture total transcription time, so billing a client is even more accurate, detailed and transparent.
• Other features include, but are not limited to: ability to link a document to an audio file, ability to create dynamic custom document templates, completed files ALWAYs visible in the Task bar, ability to amplify low audio levels making transcription easier, ability to use one queue with multiple typists and ability to load-share large files, ability to slow down audio without pitch change.
